Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is the sequel to the game Five Nights at Freddy's. As in the first game, you play as a night security guard at a pizza place called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. During the night the animatronics begin to act a bit... strange. Your goal changes from guarding the restaurant to surviving the night. Using the limited resources available to you, you must defend yourself until morning.

One of the animatronics is modeled after a cartoon bird.

Canines

One of the animatronics is modeled after a cartoon fox.

Claustrophobia

Throughout the game the Player Character is stuck in a small room and is unable to leave.

Clowns

While not strictly clowns, the animatronic animals are characters that are originally intended for humorous purposes that have taken on a sinister new role, similar to clowns. In addition, carnival-like music is a significant part of the game's atmosphere.

Darkness

The rooms in the game are very dark and there are hallways that the player cannot see down without a flashlight. Enemies will appear in these hallways.

Dead Bodies

In one of the mini-games that appear after a Player Character death, the Player Character finds the dead bodies of children. The bodies are not graphically depicted and the graphics are low-quality.

Dolls

The animatronics look like giant dolls. In particular, the rabbit animatronic has wide eyes like a doll.

Ghosts

The game implies that the events of the game may be caused by ghosts of dead children. No ghosts appear in-game.

Jump Scares

Jump scares are a major game mechanic in this game. They will happen if enemies get too close to the Player Character and will happen in the mini-games that appear after the Player Character dies.
