The characters don't mention pyro's gender, nor do they make sexist or transphobic remarks, unless you can consider the trailer in "Meet the pyro" Transphobic.

They don't directly refer to pyro as any one gender in the trailer, it's questioned in the community as well.

Also I don't see many transphobic remarks made against pyro's gender in the game.

At the same time in the trailer their not afraid of pyro's "?" gender, their scared of him/her because of his/her psychopathic tendencies to burn people.

Re: animal death: Special Delivery mode has the objective to launch a rocket into space which carries a monkey test pilot; the rocket is rigged to explode shortly after launch.

You should probably specify that most of the ghosts are depicted as comical "bedsheet" ghosts.
