Games tagged with this content contain situations in which an individual is emotionally abused--mistreated, devalued, manipulated, and controlled by an individual through means of language and statements of self worth, etc, over a long period of time. This also includes scenarios in which an individual used the threat of negative emotional experiences to control the behavior of another. This tag will not cover instances in which a single moment of mistreatment or manipulation is present--only instances in which the content demonstrates or implies continued treatment of a character in an abusive fashion.
