The first large dungeon is Bone Dungeon. On the world map, it is depicted as the skeleton of a large horned animal with glowing eyes. Within, doors between areas are skeletons similar to the outside view of the dungeon, and the walls resemble teeth, claws, or ribs. The background during battles in the dungeon includes a wall that appears to be made of ribs. Bone Dungeon also contains bone piles as path-blockers, which can be destroyed with the bomb weapon. The bone piles also appear on the first floor of the final dungeon.
